Why Sarah Palin is so successful – Part 1
Ten facts about Sarah Palin the republican vice presidential candidate for 2008, and she is the second woman to be nominated for the position. Sarah Palin is a woman who makes things happen and would be a great addition to the federal government at the vice presidential level. From what I found would make an excellent president.
Sarah Palin was born on February 11, 1964 making her to be 44, and has already been the youngest governor in the United States and the only woman to become governor of Alaska.
Sarah Palin takes a tough stand on wasteful spending and high taxes, when she was on the city council in 1992 in Wasillia she vowed to cut both. She reduced her own salary and even cut property taxes by 40%., showing us she knows what needs to be done and is not afraid to do it.

Sarah Palin ran for governor in 2006, without the mud slinging and she spent far less then her opponent and still won! That was when she was 42, and she was the youngest to hold this position in the country.
Sarah Palin has strongly supported oil resource development in her home state. In light of the high gas prices up there, she wanted to send people a hundred a month to offset those cost, but that measure failed so she instead proposed to send them all 1,200 dollars a year to offset the cost. Again, she is helping the little person, and not big business.
Sarah Palin, is not above firing those who need to be replaced. When the dairy board wanted to close in Alaska, she knew it would hurt the farmers, so she fired them all. The new board of directors reversed the decision to close the creamery and thousands of Alaskan farmers and other people in the state benefited from this move.
Sarah Palin is a take-charge kind of woman and she is exactly what is needed to turn this country around. It would be quite awesome to see her become president after McCain is through with the office.
Sarah Palin won a beauty contest, placed second in the Miss Alaska pageant, and won a scholarship to college where she studied Political science. She was active in basketball in high school, and her family ran in races often. She does have the winning combination of beauty and brains, and she brings this to the office.
Sarah Palin is an only child of Sarah, a school secretary and Charles, a science, and track teacher. She was born in Idaho but the family moved to Alaska when she was an infant.
Sarah Palin married Todd on August 29 1988, and on their 20 wedding anniversary she was nominated for the vice presidency of the United States. Talk about a wedding anniversary present! They were also high school sweethearts who married.
Sarah Palin is the mom of five children, two boys, Track who is 18 and in the Army, Trig who was born April 2008. She and Todd also have three daughters, Bristol who is 17, Willow who is 13, and Piper who is seven. Within three days of having Trig early, she was back to work, and is applauded for choosing to have him knowing he has Down’s syndrome. This says a lot about her as a mom, and a woman that she is not afraid of hard work, as being a mom of a special needs child can be exhausting.

Will Sarah Palin get a second chance at the presidency? – Part 11
In America your always given second chances and former vice president candidate Sarah Palin will be afforded that as well. Palin for many was a fresh face with new ideas that energized many from her party, but also alienated some of the old school people who still are not ready for change. Most likely Palin will head back to Alaska and finish being Governor and a run at the White House looks to be in her cards again. This powerful Governor from Alaska learned a lot on the campaign trail from what you can say and what you cannot. Many times she did not realize how cruel the press or people can be, but now she has a firm grasp on the situation and what she will need to do to make a run at White House.
Sarah Palin now understands what it takes to make the push to get to the highest office in the land and behind the scenes she is probably planning her moves so when the time is right she will announce it. The Republican party right now is in disarray and is the perfect time for Sarah Palin to lay the ground work for a run at the White House. Many people though were not happy with some of the things she did and mending some fences inside the party will be Palin’s first order of business. Throughout the campagin for vice-president she was tagged with the name Diva which she will need to overcome if she wants the masses of people to give her a second look. American people want someone they can identify with and once she appeals to a larger group of people her popularity will soar even higher than it already is.
Politics is a very funny business and Sarah Palin now understands that and what sacrifices she will need to make to become the next President Of The United States. She will have an uphill battle, but the one thing we learned about Palin is she is a fighter and works hard for things she believes in. Americans are a very forgiving Nation and will give her the second chance she wants. The next move will be up to her and how she proceeds with it. Look for a new improved Sarah Palin to hit the campaign trail in the next couple of years. The experience she gained this year will go a long way in defining who she will be in the future. Just as Barack Obama before her Sarah Palin can make history as well. I know I would not bet against this small dynamo from Alaska who came out of nowhere to be a household name in just a few months. Remember the name Sarah Palin as she could be the next President Of The United States.

Will Sarah Palin get a second chance at the presidency? – Part 6
With a message of change, Barack Obama and fellow Democrats took advantage of the toxic Republican brand to complete a clean sweep of power, winning control of the White House and expanding their control in both chambers of Congress. And many on the left are not only celebrating the victory but are also salivating over the possibility that the Republican Party as we know may never recover. But with 144 years of history to back it up, the Republican Party isn’t going anywhere. And neither is its newest star, Sarah Palin. And all those hockey moms, Joe six-packs, and mavericks out there can rest assured that she will get a second chance at the presidency.
Look at history, and the McCain/Palin loss would signal a likely end to Palin’s chances at the presidency. In fact, Bob Dole stands alone as the sole Republican to ever bounce back from a failed VP campaign to claim the Republican Party’s nomination for President. And how long did it take for him to bounce back? Try 20 years! But the McCain/Palin loss was unique in that the loss was a result of forces largely beyond their control: an unpopular incumbent Republican President, an economy floundering, and a nation inspired by the possibility of the first African American President. As McCain stated so accurately in his concession speech “I don’t know what more we could have done to try to win this election.”
Yet despite the backlash against Republicans this election, voters have always respected and admired McCain for his lifetime of service to his country, and his legacy as an American hero was only cemented further by the exposure he received as his party’s nominee and by the statesmanship and class he showed in defeat. Palin too, will undoubtedly benefit as a politician now that she is forever linked to John McCain in a historic campaign.
But the reason Sarah Palin will get a second chance at the presidency goes beyond her link to John McCain. Palin already has the support of the base with her solid conservative views; her path to the nomination is clear. She is respected my many for her willingness to fight corruption both inside and outside of her own party. She can speak to everyday kitchen table issues in a way that is both informal and intelligent. And as a female candidate, the possibility of a historic campaign only helps her cause. But the one key reason why Sarah Palin will get another shot at the presidency is time. At only 44 years old, she is young enough to ride out the current anti-Republican trend. But most importantly, Palin has the time to address her biggest weakness: lack of experience.
Palin was harshly criticized by Democrats and even some Republicans as having too little experience to be just a heartbeat away from the presidency. This criticism was legitimate to an extent, fueled by poor interviews that revealed a bit of naivete on certain key issues. But with the campaign now over, Palin can move forward to improve her biggest weakness. Will she run for another term as governor of Alaska? Does she look to Congress and a possible Senate seat? Does she focus on building a campaign organization? Whatever road Sarah Palin chooses to travel in the next decade, she will silence the critics from her VP run who claimed that she was just not ready. And make no mistake, when the electorate shifts and the time is right, Palin will get another shot. Sarah Palin has put herself in the right place for another shot. And unlike the man who blazed the trail that Palin hopes to take, it shouldn’t take 20 years for Sarah Palin to find the right time.

Sarah Palin: Gifted communicator or eternal gaffer? – Part 5
“Katie Couric Not Center of
Even after the election was over people still couldn’t get enough of Sarah Palin. The circus side show that is Sarah Palin continues to make headlines. A soon to be released documentary entitled “Media Malpractice: How Obama Got Elected.” contains an interview with Palin. Sarah Palin makes it abundantly clear in the interview that she is still bitter she did not remain a media darling throughout the election.
Palin targeted CBS reporter Katie Couric in her interview for the documentary. For those who don’t remember, Couric had asked Palin in an “interview during the election what newspapers and magazines she read, a pretty basic question.
Palin couldn’t answer except to say “anything and everything”. Katie Couric told David Letterman after the election that she was “disappointed no one followed in future interviews. “Katie, you’re not the center of everyone’s universe,” replied Palin.
Palin blamed what she called unfair coverage on the old ghost of media biased along with classism and sexism. Palin apparently took Couric’s question on what she read as an attack on those “folks up there in Alaska”, inferring that perhaps Katie meant they didn’t read at all.
“To me the question was more along the lines of: Do you read? What do you guys do up there? What is it that you read? And perhaps I was just too flippant in my answer back to her…”
Palin also questioned the media’s coverage of Caroline Kennedy in an obvious attempt at class warfare.
“I’ve been interested also to see how Caroline Kennedy will be handled and if she’ll be handled with kid gloves or if she will be under such a microscope also. It’s gonna to be interesting to see how that plays out and I think that as we watch that we will perhaps be able to prove that there is a class issue here also that was such a factor in the scrutiny of my candidacy versus, say, the scrutiny of what her candidacy may be.”
Palin is still reaching out to be that hockey mom, just one of the gals. Who is she really trying to convince the American public or herself? The coverage of Caroline Kennedy has been fair. I have seen many questions raised to her qualifications as a senator on the blogs of “The Moderate and as well as “The Wall Street , “The , “The Boston , and “The Washington p; have all reported fairly on Kennedy and not always favorably.
Frankly, I enjoy Sarah Palin. She has led me to put “SY” on descriptors of myself, though the only thing folksy about me is perhaps my large beard. Palin has spawned some of the best SNL in over five years. Unlike Ann Coulter who makes me sick when she speaks, Sarah Palin gives me a delightful chuckle. Perhaps that is why she scares me ten times more than the obvious looming right wing specter of Coulter.

Will Sarah Palin get a second chance at the presidency? – Part 16
Sarah Palin 2012? I’m not sure if 2012 is her year, but her year is definitely coming. Who is this woman who represents an up until now the last group that it is politically correct to discriminate against…the conservative woman… Thank you Sarah Palin! As a conservative woman I am very proud to have a woman with such outstanding qualities to represent me. She is smart, down to earth, and classy, but what sets her apart from other politicians is that this is not just a woman but a politician who has common sense, and isn’t afraid to use it.
Sarah has so much potential. Obviously the media is scared to death of her, or they wouldn’t have treated her so badly, so that tells me that this lady has star power. She speaks to the people as she would want to be spoken to. She is polite and respectful, but not afraid to speak her mind. She doesn’t not bow down to pressure and tells it like it is. She is not afraid to meet criticism head on. Remember Saturday Night Live? Tina Fey only wishes she was half the woman Sarah Palin is. After all, isn’t imitation the sincerest form of flattery? If so many in the media are afraid of her that can only mean that she has a future in politics.
Sarah Palin is one of the few politicians out there who will stand up for what is right, even if it is not the popular thing. A favorite quote of mine is, “Character is doing what’s right when nobody is watching.” This woman has true character and integrity. She has family values and isn’t afraid to stand up and be proud of those values. She won’t sell out to highest bidder. She won’t need to buy an election.
As we have seen the so called journalists in the media go after her like rabid dogs. They wouldn’t bother if she was insignificant. Why spend so much energy trying to ruin somebody if they didn’t fear that she has the star quality. That staying power.
There are many reasons I’d like to see Sarah Palin go far in American politics. She would bring back the pride in being conservative. She would be a great role model for girls everywhere. She would be an advocate for special needs angels. She would bring class and not to mention an incredibly hot First Dude, to the White House. Besides she reminds me of Margaret Thatcher.
Many have speculated that she may appoint herself to Alaska’s senate seat. I hope she won’t. I’m afraid a move like that might hurt her in the long run. I think she will go back to Alaska and serve out her term as Governor and then come back to kick butt in Washington DC. After all, she originally went after the Lieutenant Governor seat first. When she didn’t get that, she came back to be the Governor. If this pattern is to continue then we should see that when she didn’t get the job as Vice President, then she’ll just come back and take the job as President.
Sarah Palin! The first woman President of the United States of America! Sarah Palin 2012! Go Sarah!
